About CordlessHoover.com
CordlessHoover.com is an independent UK website that covers one product category in depth: cordless vacuum cleaners. We help people choose the right model for their home, get the most from it and fix it when something goes wrong.

Why a site about one type of hoover?
Cordless stick hoovers have become the main vacuum in millions of UK homes, yet buying one is surprisingly hard. Ranges change every year, retailers sell near-identical models under different bundle codes, runtime claims are measured in the most flattering mode, and "sale" prices are often nothing of the sort. A specialist site can go further than a general review roundup: explaining model codes, tracking which versions are worth buying and answering the maintenance questions that come up after purchase.
What we cover
- Best-buy guides for specific needs, from pet hair to stairs and small flats.
- Model reviews with a consistent structure so you can compare like with like.
- Brand guides covering Shark, Dyson, Vax, Numatic (Henry and Hetty), Gtech, Miele and more.
- Head-to-head comparisons with a clear verdict.
- Practical guides on batteries, filters, troubleshooting and running costs.
Our principles
- Independence. No brand pays for a place in our rankings or can review our verdicts before publication.
- Honesty about method. Our assessments are research-led. We say where our information comes from and never present invented test scores as measurements. See how we research.
- Usefulness over volume. Every page should answer a real question better than anything else you could read. If a cheaper model is the better buy, we say so.
- Kept up to date. Pages show the date they were last reviewed, and we revise recommendations when ranges, prices or known issues change.
How we make money
Some links to retailers, mainly Amazon UK, are affiliate links. If you buy through them we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes which products we recommend. Full details are in our affiliate disclosure.
